AAs you stroll across the boardwalk you are crossing our man-made bog. During warmer months the area is full of decorative grasses, colorful flowers, and carnivorous plants. These are currently dormant or have been cut back for their winter nap.
You can still see dwarf horsetail, the short, dark green, grass-like plant, throughout the area. As you leave the bog, a tall Weeping Temple Juniper with its spreading branches grows to your right. Continue to the Koi pond garden and enter it via the first path to your left. For more information about Carnivorous Plants please enter stop number 40.
